Kameelboomkoelte Chalets, Askham, situated in the heart of the famous ‘Kalahari Red Dune Route’ of the Southern Kalahari is the result of a dream created by Erick and Nina Meyer. Their dream became a reality in January 2017 and this beautiful, relaxing stopover in the Kalahari was born! Between these two energetic and passionate people, they have created a beautiful, comfortable oasis of luxury for guests to enjoy in true Kalahari style.

Kameelboomkoelte offers accommodation in seven fully equipped, self-catering open plan, air-conditioned units/chalets (sleep 24 people) with braai (barbeque) facilities. Cool off in the large sparkling blue pool, soaking up the sun or simply relax and soak up the peace & quiet ... 

This is the ideal stopover for business travellers / couples or family groups on their way to the Kgalagadi ​Transfrontier Park, Namibia and Botswana. The area is a Birders Paradise! Photo opportunities are endless!

The 7 fully equipped chalets are decorated with flair to ensure a home from home stay. Each of the seven chalets are carefully placed for privacy with a central pool and large fire pit for braaing dinner and visiting under clear kalahari night sky...

Chalets 1, 3, 4, 5, 6: 

These chalets are furnished with two three-quarter beds and have an en-suite bathroom. They also have a fully equipped kitchen. Air conditioning is provided.

Wheelchair Friendly Chalet 2: 

This wheelchair friendly chalet is furnished with two three-quarter beds and has an en-suite bathroom. The room is air conditioned and has a fully equipped kitchen.

Chalet 7: 

Chalet 7 is furnished with a Queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom. The room is air-conditioned and has a fully equipped kitchen.
