Klipwerf offers comfortable self-catering and camping accommodation. Situated in Calvinia, a halfway stop between Cape Town and Upington on route to Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.

It is ideal for a family or a group of friends looking for a relaxing place to stay. Klipwerf Self-catering and Camping has a range of accommodation types to suit all guests.

Offering 4 self-catering units, each with an open-plan lounge and kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. All self-catering units are air-conditioned except for the Rondawel.

Open view television channels and outside braai areas are available. Yes we are pet friendly!

Self Catering unit 1

Open plan unit with kitchen, lounge area, bedroom, bathroom, braai area & safe parking

• Kitchen has a microwave, fridge, kettle, hotplate, frying pan, toaster, crockery & cutlery.  Tea, coffee & sugar is supplied.
• Bedroom has 3 single beds - all bedding provided
• The lounge has a couch & 2 chairs, coffee table, TV (DStv) and air-conditioning.
• Bathroom has a shower, basin, toilet, towels & soaps.
• Outside braai area - grid & tongs supplied.

Self Catering unit 2

Unit with open plan kitchen, dining room area, bedroom, bathroom, braa area & safe parking

• Kitchen/Dining area has TV (DStv), microwave, fridge, kettle,  table & 4 chairs, crockery and cutlery for 4 guests, comfortable lounge area and also 2 single beds with bedding.
• Bedroom has a double bed, bedding and air-conditioning.
• Bathroom has a shower, bath, basin, toilet, towels & soaps.
• Outside braai area - grid & tongs supplied.

En-Suite Bedroom

Bedroom fully equipped for self catering with microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, crockery & cutlery and a washing up area and safe parking.

• Bedroom has a double bed and air-conditioning.
• Bathroom as a shower, basin, toilet, towels & soaps.

Rondavel

Open plan rondavel with kitchen and sleeping area. The bedroom area has a double bed & bunk beds, TV (DStv). There is a fan, tea, coffee & sugar. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, basin, towels and soaps. An outside braai area and safe parking.

Camping

Caravan and camping spots available. There are 3 private bathrooms with showers, basins and toilets. Each spot has its own braai area and power point.

Wood and ice are available upon request.
