Mohale’s Hoek is a region located in Lesotho. Its capital town is Mohale’s Hoek and it is the only town in this region. This region has a total population of approximately 200 000 inhabitants and the area spans over 3 530 km². Mohale’s Hoek borders on the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa and is one of the southern regions of Lesotho.

The region’s capital town of Mohale’s Hoek has the fascinating Cannibal Caves as its tourist attraction. These caves have evidence of actual cannibalistic activities. The surrounding area also has some dinosaur footprints and San rock paintings for the history enthusiasts.
