Hendrina
The town of Hendrina is situated in the Cultural Heartlands region of Mpumalanga, South Africa.
Geography and History
Hendrina and was founded in 1914 on a farm called Grasfontein. It was named after Hendrina Beukes, the wife of the owner of the farm, Gert Beukes.
Hendrina is home to the Eskom owned Hendrina Power Station. The power station provides employment to about 1000 workers and is one of Eskoms major power stations.
