Trompsburg
Geography and history
Trompsburg is a small town located in the Motheo and Xhariep region of the Free State Province in South Africa. The town was laid out in 1891 on a farm named Middelwater. The town was named after the owners of Middelwater, Jan and Bastiaan Tromp. Trompsburg is the main hub of merino sheep farming in the Free State Province.

Activities
Trompsburg offers many interesting sights and activities to keep the whole family busy. One such interesting sight is the Stone Wall. It is a 11 km-long wall that was built by hand.
