Wesselsbron is a small town situated in the Lejweleputswa region of the Free State Province, South Africa. The town was named after Cmdt Cornelius Wessels who led the 1899 siege of Kimberley. Wesselsbron is known for its maize farming and is located 75 km from Bothaville. Its population is around 1 101 and its residents speak mainly Afrikaans.
