Kestell
Geography and history
Kestell is a small town located in the Thabo Mofutsanyana region of the Free State Province in South Africa. It was laid out in 1905 and named after its founder, Rev John Kestell. This eccentric town serves as an important maize producer. Situated in the heart of the Highlands, Kestell has beautiful open skies and an array of awe-inspiring views. It has a total population of about 1 000 residents of which the majority speaks Afrikaans.
