Delareyville
Geography and history
Delareyville, previously known as Saltwaters, is a town situated in the Central Region of the North West Province in South Africa. It was established in 1912 by Field-Cornet AP Visser on a farm named Zoutpan. He named the town after General Koos De la Rey who fought in the Anglo-Boer War. Delareyville is located 82 km from Vryburg and has a total population of around 3 000 residents.The town is situated in the newly named DR NGAKA MODIRI MOLEMA DISTRICT.

Activities and attractions
There are loads of historical and outdoor activities available in Delareyville. The Barberspan Bird Sanctuary is a must-see for all nature-lovers. This sanctuary, one of the largest waterfowl sanctuaries in Southern Africa, has over 350 bird species to behold.There is also an olympic swimming-pool with adjoining caravan park
